M1905-R
M1905-M

M-10
E-10
R-10
Commercial Cadet (.22 Long Rifle)
Regarding the M10 family of actions, Ross is reported to have perfected this action in 1910, hence the model designation. However, many incorrectly assume these rifles were available to the public in 1910. The E-10 and R-10 sporters were available in early 1913 with the M-10 following a short while later. Soon after its introduction the M-10 became the biggest seller in the Ross line. In current times, the M-10 is by far the most frequently encountered of the Ross sporters. This is likely due to larger production numbers and the fact that it was not chambered for .303. Because of the plentiful availability of inexpensive surplus .303 ammunition, any rifle chambered in this popular and useful caliber tended to see steady use for decades any many simply were, "used up." To this day, .303 ammunition is readily available, particularly when contrasted to the availability of .280 Ross ammunition.
The Model 1907 Scotch Deer Stalking Pattern sporters (.280 Ross only) premiered Ross' new .280 Ross cartridge and were introduced in 1908.
The Model 1905-E and R were brought out in 1907.
The Model 1905-M was the first sporter built on the M1905 action. It appeared in the 1906 and 1907 catalogs.
The Model 1903 Sporters (200 chambered in .370 Express) were completed in the Quebec Ross plant in late 1904/early 1905.
