after identifying perhaps twenty different rear barrel sights on different versions of Mark Two Ross rifles, both Commercial and military I stopped counting.....
Tell you what, DF. Show me a picture of the sight on the barrel now while it's out of the stock, and I'll tell you how to get it off.
First; how about telling me why you want to take it off in the first place, please.

this is sort of like me walking into a Canadian Tire Store and asking "can you give me sparkplugs and a fan belt for my neighbour's car? I don't know what kind of car or what year it is, though."
Tell me why he wants to take it off in the first place...I'm still curious.
