Hi Guys,

Still learning about these things and have a question for those in the know. Will a 1907 bolt fit in a 1905 action? They seem like they would be interchangeable, but  I just don't know. I have an old sporterized 1905 missing a bolt and pickings are slim out there. Thanks!

Here's a bolt but you would have to act quick.  And be willing to take a chance as you don't know what you're getting when you can't hold it in your hands before you buy it.

And by 1907 bolt - do you mean Scotch Deerstalkers?  The SDS have a different locking lug set-up.

Thanks! If you were referring to the bolt on the bay, I missed it. Had a bid in, but was away too long and missed it. That was the source of my 1907 question.

To answer your other question, I am not referring to the deerstalker. My rifle is a standard 1905 (sporterized) made for the standard solid lug bolt.
